My objective while studying abroad: Improve my pronunciation.

About the school:

The school is small, but the atmosphere there is very nice. Teachers, students and staff have an informal and friendly relationship which is integral to Sprachcaffe. Everyone is always smiling and laughing.

The lessons:

Although it was a group course, my teacher always focused on the individual skills of each student. I wanted to improve my pronunciation and my teacher is very much focused on my pronunciation.

The establishment:

I have no particular dissatisfaction about the accommodation. Bring your own towels yourself.

The City:

The townspeople were just friendly. The air is not clean, but the temperature is warm and comfortable.

The most interesting memory that you take from here: Day by day, I could use many words and could understand what people were saying in the street. It also felt very good when I could have a chat with the staff of the shops.

The hardest experience here, and how you conquered it: It was hard to strengthen my basic Chinese skills. However, after starting to improve, my ability in Chinese improved a lot.

Your experience with Sprachcaffe:

I learned that it is important to be patient and continue to study hard. I also realized that it is very important to reinforce the basic skills, and enjoy the study.

Additional comments:

I got used to being in school every day. It felt very comfortable being there, so I'm sad to have to leave my school. I want to go back and study again.

First of all, congratulations to Sprachcaffe London for being so welcoming to every student who starts a language course with them. With the warm welcome we received at this school, they made us feel like everyone was part of a big family.

From day one at the school, every employee was kind, friendly and always willing to help in any way possible.

My progress in the classroom was really satisfying and the teachers were really good at explaining each lesson clearly for everyone.

During these months I lived with a homestay family, who have been very nice to me and I always had the opportunity to practice English with them. They keep their home in an excellent condition and every day at lunch time I got to eat something different.

Another wonderful experience was making friends with people from different countries with different cultures and customs. I hope to have the opportunity to come back here. I really recommend this experience to anybody who would like to learn or improve their language knowledge.

The staff at GEOS are so very friendly. Every single day at GEOS learning English was so much fun that I wanted to go to school every day! The way the teachers taught was fun and very easy to understand.

Even though the school is small, without too many students, it has a very friendly and welcoming atmosphere.

It is a very good quality school. I had such a great time, I want to go back there to study again.

I came to Montreal in order to learn French at Geos. Comparing Geos to other language schools, the first difference I recognized was that it has got more of a family atmosphere, and I think that is the most advantageous feature of Geos. Their policy focusing on the education of the students by sticking to small group sizesmakes the classes more effective as they make it possible to have the appropiate attention during classes. The teachers are well qualified and fairly patient with the students. Because of the great variety of the students it is a good opportunity to improve my French and my English as well. There is also a ’community space’ to spend freetime/breaks with the other students. Last but not least,due to the favourable location of the school, we have the chance to reach all of the places that are worth seeing in the city.

As for my accomodation, I’m living here in Montreal in an apartement that is a little bit further from the city centre, but it is easy to reach by metro. The owners of the apartement are kind and helpful and the rooms, the kitchen etc. are always clean.  

In general I like the cultural diversity of the city, and I found people quite friendly and polite  :)

First of all congratulations to the GEOS Languages ​​Plus Toronto School for being so welcoming to students starting their program. The warm welcome makes everyone who attends the school to feel like we are part of a family in the city of Toronto.

From the first day I attend this school, all I've received from all its members has been excellent treatment and help with different concerns. 

I have found the academic processes to be very enjoyable and the person in charge of provision seeks the best way to be understood.

The family home is run by a fun couple, who maintain their home in excellent condition, suitable for accomodating a responsible person from another country. They were able to accomodate certain requirements such as food in my case.

I hope to return here again. I would highly recommend this experience for language students.

Hello, my name is Onur Öztürk. I come from Turkey and this was my first experience abroad.

It was really difficult for me at the beginning and the Sprachcaffe team, from teachers to staff, helped me a lot. In my opinion Sprachcaffe has the best location in Frankfurt. I share the apartment with other new friends from different countries, which allowed me to get to know new cultures. The lessons in Sprachcaffe are instructive and fun.

Even though I stayed here only three months I believe my knowledge improved massively. I thank the Sprachcaffe teachers for that, they are really good at their jobs. I will recommend Sprachcaffe to my friends in Turkey who want to have a great adventure abroad.

I am Monica and I chose to study Spanish in Barcelona with the help of Sprachcaffe. I’m really happy with this decision and I want to recommend anyone who wants to learn Spanish to go to Barcelona with Sprachcaffe! I recommend learning this language because I think it’s fun and it’s the third most spoken language on earth. 

The teachers are friendly, polite and have a sense of humourand they make sure the classes are entertaining and easy to follow. Quite often they’ll invent games to ensure we have a fun class and that we learn new concepts at the same time.

Another thing I like a lot is the timetable of the classes which allows us to do other activities, we have free time and our teamers organise really interesting excursions for us. I love the teamers, they’re always with us and they help us.

I chose to live with a Spanish family, it was a really good experience, I got to know different people, foods, cultures… I feel that I am fortunate and I am happy with my decision.

I’ll recommend it to you again: choose Barcelona to learn Spanish and enjoy the sun!

Before I came here I was worried about L.A. because everybody told me the same thing, that L.A. is not safe. I decided to come here and I saw that people are so kind and helpful. Also, my host family is awesome. She took me everywhere! For example, one weekend we went camping. I had never been camping. I was so excited and when I went there I met with new friends. We had so much fun!

Before I arrived in Brighton, I was very worried about how my experience would be. Later on I realised that there was nothing to be worried about because Brighton is a lovely student citywhere all the people are polite and friendly. It actually turned out to be better than I had expected, it is perfect.

I do believe that I have chosen the best school, where everybody is a part of a little family including teachers, staff and fellow students. I am never alone here.

Hi, I’m Lauren, I’m from Taiwan. I have been studying in Sprachcaffe for two months, and the TOEFL class is very helpful if you want to get a high score on the test.

Teacher Debbie is really kind and patient, and she always answers student’s questions very clearly and with many details. I like the class size because the teacher can take care of all the students easily and can get to know what is the student’s level and answer any questions.

I also joined the class in the afternoon, Mr. Robert’s academic writing is really challenging for the student who is going to college or university. He uses different kinds of material in the class, for example; the textbook, TED speech video, even the news in the world. At the front desk, Karl always smiles and will help you a lot if you have any questions. In the office, K is very sweet and professional to resolve your student visa issues and helpful in the way to apply to college and university.

I would strongly recommend the student who wants to come to learn English in California; I believe Sprachcaffe Orange County is the best choice for you!

Sprachcaffe-Rabat plans everything for you from the beginning to the end. I was a beginner when I arrived and the level was perfectly adapted to my needs. Even if we were in a group of three the teacher was very attentive and made sure that everybody was keeping up. The whole staff there does everything to provide the students with an incredible quality of teaching. I was not disappointed at all and will join Sprachcaffe Rabat again in the future if I have the chance. Many thanks to the whole team. 

Hi All!

I chose Sprachcaffe Madrid because I studied in this school in Malta several years ago. Then I enjoyed it and, in general, I had no doubt that this time everything will be fine. And that's how it turned out! I spent 3 weeks of January here, and although there were not many students, the school always prepared different joint activities: trips to museums, restaurants, salsa classes, etc. A huge advantage of the school is that it is located in the heart of Madrid, and the apartments are two floors down from the classrooms. I also want to mention the goodwill, friendliness and attentiveness of all the staff! Perhaps this feature is a general characteristic of all the Spanish people, but at this school it did particularly catch my eye! Thank you to all teachers and classmates for an unforgettable, very interesting and useful time!

My language travel has been a nice and enjoyable experience. When I arrived at Malta, the bus driver was there immediately and took me and the other arriving students to Sprachcaffe St Julian’s. After a short checkin a teamer showed me my room which I shared with 2 other boys (one of them was a friend of mine who came with me to Malta). The room itself wasn’t too big but you don’t come to Malta to sit in your room anyway. In the morning I had English lessons which took from nine o’clock till quarter past twelve. In class, there was a nice atmosphere.  My teacher was kind and the lessons were interesting. Because of daily new topics and the different nationalities, it influenced the lessons. In a fifteen minute break (half past ten) all students met up in groups with their teamers to discuss what kind of activities each student wanted to take part in. The activities covered a big variety: volley ball tournaments, city trips or student partys.

But of course you didn’t have to spend your whole time doing trips if you wanted to pool or go to a nearby beach. In regards to food you had different options. You could get the standard (prepaid) meals – breakfast, lunch, dinner in the school. If you wanted to invest a bit more it was possible to eat in the bistro located on the Sprachcaffe club village or in a restaurant in St Julian’s. After all I can say a language travel is a great opportunity for students to improve their language skills, meet new people from other countries and have a nice vacation.

I am genuinely happy that I’ve chosen Sprachcaffe for my language vacation.

My classes were extremely useful because ourteachers knew exactly how to introduce the language. I was lucky to have Kevin as my group leader: he fully accomplished his responsibilities and managed to keep us interested in exploring Beijing. I was satisfied with the list of excursions and the timing – it was just perfect, we’ve been to all the worth-visiting sights.

I can say that Sprachcaffe is the best way to travel if you want to learn the language.

The school is located in the center of Beijing, like the hotel, and it gives us access to all Beijing. The teachers are kind and teach us well, the level is really correct and increases every week. Also the lunch is good.

The hotel is near the school and easy to find. Its access is really simple with the subway, the bus and the taxi. Breakfast and dinner are quite good and the room too.

The activities are great, there is a lot of choice. The visits are interesting and the activities are really funny and well organized.

The team leader (Kevin) is open-minded and kind. He helps you when you need it and in every situation. He’s close to everybody (and he is very funny).

I just want to thank you for this great experience in Beijing, it was a pleasure and I’ll come again for the third time…
